Hi there. I know it’s been awhile, but it’s nice to see you again. Happy (almost) Thanksgiving!
Where did you go?
Well a few weeks ago, I had my whole calendar planned out for blog life. I had the entire month of November just laid out. I knew exactly what I was going to do. I was editing, I was writing, I was posting like a BOSS, but then life occurred. Who knew? Don’t worry, nothing catastrophic has happened to me. I’ve just been really busy with work. The truth is blogging is just a side gig for me. It’s my biggest hobby, my favorite hobby, but it isn’t how I make money.
For those of you that didn’t know, I’m an Assistant Buyer for a very large corporate retailer and this is our busiest time of the year. Q4 – it’s what we work for all year long and it’s finally here. I’ve been so busy at work that it’s made me tired at home. So basically, I’ve just been a little reclusive. Working, running, eating, reading, sleeping, on repeat. I can’t even tell you how nice this has been on my mental state. I feel completely refreshed and ready to face the holidays and all the airport time I’ll be getting in before 2018. I know, breaking from blogging isn’t what real bloggers do, but I’m a cool blogger – so I do what I want!
What’s everyone got planned for Turkey Day? Going home, staying in? Our Plans: tomorrow we’re heading to Oklahoma to see Big A’s family and eat some pie(s)! But whatever your plans, I sincerely hope you all have a wonderful week and be sure to check out my Packing List post in the morning – it’s a travel tradition here on Tiffany-Marie.com
Speaking of packing lists and plans… what’s everyone wearing on Thanksgiving? I know I have my pumpkin dress, but I can’t decide if I’ll wear it or something more cozy like this outfit. I actually just got this sweater from Old Navy and I love the color(linked below)! My only hesitation is that this outfit isn’t the warm hues you typically see around a Thanksgiving table. What are your thoughts – warm hues or cold hues? Perhaps I’ll rock that pumpkin dress after all. Honestly my favorite part of Thanksgiving is that we all get to together to share a meal and look fly as hell while doing it.
