Double Take

Do you have outfits in your closet that you love to repeat? Despite blogging and photographing a lot (a few) of my outfits, I actually have quite a few that have been on repeat for YEARS. Yeah, you read that right, years. The way I see it, when something works you work it hard and this outfit is exactly that.

I bought this sweater from H&M a few years ago when they launched an entire line of Chartreuse clothing (here’s to hoping they do it again) and initially when purchased, I wasn’t sure how to wear it. Well, que my call to BE BOLD, I decided to pair it with my royal blue booties (also oldies) from Modcloth. I love the way this outfit color blocks. I see it as my coziest power outfit because I always feel so confident. Plus this sweater never lacks in compliments! See where I’ve worn it before here.

Two small things:

Did you notice I got a haircut? If you didn’t I won’t hound you too much since I only cut off 3 WHOLE INCHES plus I got my layers back. I think after living here for year and half that I might have finally found a hair dresser. They started my appointment with wine, what’s not to love.

AND

Did you watch This is Us Last night? It was one of the feel good episodes, the kind that brings you up before dragging you down. Next week is looking like a serious tear jerker, bring tissues.

Good morning pretty lady. Yes, a hairdresser starting with wine is a nice start. Your hair looks lush and gorgeous as always. The outfit with color blocking is lovely. Enjoy your day. Love you!
