New Orleans 1/3

I can’t believe it’s already been a month since we were storming around New Orleans! This month has been crazy but it was nice to prepare for it with my best of friends and all the good food. As with all my travel posts, this is the first of 3 posts about this beautiful, gritty, unique city. We went to the quarter, had muffaletta down by the river, rode the streetcars, listened to jazz, ate Jambalaya at Mother’s (well they did but I had the best sandwich of my LIFE) Β ate all the beignets, drank the French 75, and still ended up sloshed on Bourbon Street with a grenade. This is only just a glimpse but there was something beautiful and different going on here. New Orleans is unlike any place I’ve ever been.Β
